Random pictures from our trip.

Starting again

Maui, Hawaii March 2013.  We spent all day every day swimming at the pool or playing at the beach.  One day we went whale watching on a sail boat.  It was beautiful and we saw a lot of whales.  I think the kids will remember this forever.  I know I will.  I love Hawaii!!

Lemonade stand

Clara and Logan having a lemonade stand. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac, I was a little worried about how they would get customers. They sat for awhile, and then they went and solicited neighbors by knocking on their doors. They had a lot of fun setting it all up, making the sign, and drinking most of the lemonade:)

Sept. 10th 2009, Clara's 1st day of Kindrgarten

Clara's 1st day of Kindergarten. She is also attending George W. Gibbs Elementary, her teacher is Mrs. Nichols. We love her! Clara suprised us on the first day of school. We thought we were going to have a hard time getting her on the bus, instead she walked away, hopped onto the bus, and waved good-bye. I think I was more emotional than if she would have been sad to get on. She acted so grown up and sure of herself. Clara is always so full of suprises, she is fun to watch grow. She has a love of learning and helping others. Mrs. Nichols is such a loving teacher. She teaches the class mainly through songs and music, which Clara thouroughly enjoys.

Sept. 8th 2009, Ella 1st day of 2nd grade

Ella's first day of 2nd grade. She started at a new school this year, George W. Gibbs Elementary. Her teacher is Mrs. Eckhoff, she had a baby in November and will back to school on February 12th. We are very excited to have her back. Her substitute teacher Ms. Campbell has been excellent, we will miss her. Mimi and Papa were visiting, they always make everything extra special. They are always such positive people to have around, and they are great examples to the girls.

Visit to Almonds in Puyallup and Suncadia, August 2009

We took a trip to Puyallup, Washington to visit the Almond Family. We had such a wonderful time, and made many memories. It is always so nice to visit family and renew relationships. We went to Suncadia and spent a lot of time swimming and relaxing. We spent the rest of the week in Puyallup playing and visiting. Ann and John are such great hosts, and the kids are such great examples to our kids. We only wished we lived a little closer to each other.

Clara's 5th birthday party

Clara's 5th birthday party with her friends, Abel, Logan, Zach, Spencer, and Ella. They had a great time playing water games and the donut game. Clara really wanted a flip flop cake, so I did my best. It was fun to make! I can't believe Clara is 5!

Oh to be 5! For dinner Clara wanted Mac n' cheese (surprise!), Oma put it in a beautiful glass bowl for her. Then for dessert, her cupcake flower. The girls ended up with frosting all over their faces:) July 29th, 2009

We went to Utah for my dad's (Gordon's) 75th birthday celebration in July 2009. We had such a wonderful time with family. We made many memories that we will cherish forever! This is Ella and Anna along with Amelia and Clara at "Annie". We went to Tuacan with grandma, so much fun, but it was sooooooo hot! We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa for a week in St. George, then went to Salt Lake for a couple days and stayed with Sherlynn. We were able to spend some quality time with Stephanie and her little guy. Then we went to Deer Valley for a weekend and then back to Cedar City to stay with the Lambs for a few days. A whirlwind trip, but a lot of fun!

School's out!

Summer Break!!! We went with the Brase Family to the Minnesota Zoo the day after school was out. We were trying to make a special outing for the kids to celebrate school being out. It was fun, but it was really wet and rainy. The kids had a blast, all they cared about was being together and running to see all the animals.
